Nine Lives has a two-part mission: to promote environmental sustainability and ensure everyone has access to clothing they both need and enjoy.

By keeping clothing in use and out of landfills, we reduce waste and extend the life of quality garments. At the same time, we make sure our community’s abundance is shared with those facing hardship, housing instability, or major life transitions.

We provide free clothing in three ways:

1. Walk-ins in need

Individuals who stop by unexpectedly and need immediate support.

2. Appointments or referrals

Most guests come through scheduled visits or with vouchers from our partner organizations.

3. Free shopping events

No-cost shopping events hosted in-store in collaboration with community-based organizations.

These programs support individuals in need of clothing for daily life, job interviews, new employment, and new beginnings. You can help us keep these programs sustainable, stocked, and full of dignity.

Contribute to
3% Cover the Fee

The Emergency Children’s Clothing Fund (ECCF) supports children sheltering in place through direct clothing purchases from partner secondhand stores and the provision of new socks and underwear. By purchasing clothing rather than collecting clothing donations, ECCF ensures faster response times, accurate sizing, reduced waste, and meaningful support for local small businesses. We are thrilled to partner with 4ever Saleing and Eco Chico for this initiative.
